We have already described the details of how Entity Sync Mapping<\/a><\/strong> functionality of GUMU™<\/a> can help you import any data from your Sage ERP system to Salesforce. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this blog we will be highlighting the instructions on how to create relationship in the import routine for related objects, so that the data from those can be brought over to Salesforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are already some relationships present in the entity mapping for some standard Objects such as Orders, Order Products etc. But if we want to create a new relationship, we can create them with the help of steps mentioned below.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prerequisites:- You need to create the Lookup relationship for that object to link it to another Object.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Create new import routine for custom\/standard Object.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, to set the relationship, you need to select the Lookup field which was created in the Salesforce Object. In the \u201cTarget Field\u201d and the \u201cSource Field\u201d you will have to select the ERP field followed by the \u201cParent Object\u201d of the \u201cTarget Field\u201d. After creating the above relationship, whenever you sync the data from ERP to Salesforce, we will get all the record related to that Object. For example, if you want to display the location in Salesforce custom Object then you need to create formula fields for the Location. After creating the formula fields, create the relationship in the import routine of the custom Object where you want to display the Location details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
