The Security Matrix of GUMU&#x2122; integration allows you to give access rights to various GUMU&#x2122; features like Administration, Promote Customer\/Accounts, Sales Order and Real-time Customer Details. These rights are provided to individual User or to a specific User Profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following are the typical GUMU&#x2122; functional access which are maintained or provided access to the <strong><em>User or Profiles through the Security Matrix<\/em><\/strong> by <strong><em>Salesforce Admin<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><u>GUMU Settings:<\/u><\/strong> If for a particular User\/Profile, the <em>Salesforce Admin<\/em> needs to  provide access to the <em><u>&#8220;GUMU Settings&#8221; App<\/u><\/em> then he needs to mark the value as &#x2611; , if the checkbox is not checked left unchecked then that User\/Profile won\u2019t have appropriate rights to access the &#8220;GUMU Settings&#8221;. <\/li><li><strong><u>ERP Details:<\/u><\/strong> If the ERP Details is left unchecked for a particular User\/Profile, then they won\u2019t be able to see\/access the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Real-time data (Sales Order, AR Inquiry and the Customer\u2019s information) (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/2018\/09\/24\/real-time-ar-inquiry-in-gumu-for-salesforce-sage-100-us-erp-integration\/\" target=\"_blank\">Real-time data (Sales Order, AR Inquiry and the Customer\u2019s information)<\/a> against the Accounts.<\/li><li><strong><u>Promote Customer:<\/u><\/strong> If this checkbox is unchecked for a User\/Profile, then it will restrict those users by not allowing them to <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Promote the Accounts from Salesforce as Customers to Sage ERP  (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/2019\/07\/09\/promote-salesforce-account-to-sage-100-customer-using-gumu-lightning-version\/\" target=\"_blank\">Promote the Accounts from Salesforce as Customers to Sage ERP <\/a>System.<\/li><li><strong><u>Promote Order:<\/u><\/strong> If this checkbox is unchecked for a User\/Profile, then it will restrict those users by not allowing them to <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Promote the Orders from Salesforce to Sage ERP (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/2019\/09\/09\/promote-sales-order-from-sf-to-sage-100-erp-through-gumu-using-salesforce-lightning-components\/\" target=\"_blank\">Promote the Orders from Salesforce to Sage ERP<\/a> System.<\/li><li><strong><u>Update Customer:<\/u><\/strong> Last but not the least, if the <em>Salesforce Admin<\/em> wants to restrict the User\/Profile from passing on the update of a linked Account record to the Customer record in Sage, then they have to keep the checkbox unchecked. If it&#8217;s checked then the updates will be passed over to the related Sage Customer record.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Use below\nsteps to assign the functionality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Login to Salesforce.<\/li><li>Go to App Launcher.<\/li><li>Click on the <strong>GUMU Settings<\/strong> App.<\/li><li>Click on the <strong>Security Matrix<\/strong> tab to open the Security Matrix page.<\/li><li>Once you click on the tab, it will display all the default profiles with ERP features in a tabular format.<\/li><li>We have two levels of Security at \u201cProfile\u201d level and individual \u201cUser\u201d. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/1_ProfileLevel.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/1_ProfileLevel.jpg\" alt=\"GUMU&#x2122; Security Matrix - Profile Level\"><\/a><\/center>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Allow\/restrict access rights to the profile.
