Pre-requisite for promoting a &#8220;Billing Address&#8221; is the Account (the user has selected) should be Promoted or Linked to Sage X3 Customer. For more details on how a user can promote the Account from Salesforce to Sage X3, kindly refer the following blog: <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/2019\/09\/24\/promote-salesforce-account-to-sage-x3-customer-using-gumu-lightning-version\/\" target=\"_blank\">Promote Account from Salesforce to Sage X3<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now since we have an idea about how a user can Promote an Account from Salesforce to Sage X3, let us know emphasis on how he can Promote Billing Address to Sage X3 from Salesforce. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Promote New Address as &#8220;Billing&#8221;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p> Kindly refer the below steps:  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Login to Salesforce and select the desired Account you want to create and Promote the Address for.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/1.Linked-Account.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/1.Linked-Account.png\" alt=\"Linked Account\"><\/a><\/center>\n<font size=\"2\"><center><i>Linked Account<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>To create a new address for promoting as Billing, click on \u201c<em>New Address<\/em>\u201d button as highlighted in the above image.<\/li><li>When a user clicks on \u201c<em>New Address<\/em>\u201d button, a new window will pop-up, where user needs to enter required details. As show in the below image:<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/2.-Create-New-Billing-Address.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/2.-Create-New-Billing-Address.png\" alt=\"Create New Billing Address\"><\/a><\/center>\n<font size=\"2\"><center><i>Create New Billing Address<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><em>Note: Below stated Fields should always be unique whenever a user creates Billing\/Shipping Address for an Account:<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><em><strong>Address Code:<\/strong><\/em> For tranquil identification, the Address code should always be unique. Two addresses for the Account cannot have same Address Code.<\/li><li><em><strong>Is Default Address:<\/strong><\/em> Ability to user to decide whether they want this Address to be Default in Salesforce and Sage.<\/li><li><strong><em>Address Type:<\/em> <\/strong>User can specify whether the new address created is a <em>Billing<\/em> or <em>Shipping<\/em> address. Its done by selecting appropriate value from the drop down.<\/li><li><em><strong>Address Name:<\/strong><\/em> Just as the Address Code, Address Name should also be unique.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Once details are entered, user can either Cancel, Save and Promote details to Sage. Since here we are understanding how to promote the Billing Address, we shall now go-ahead click Promote. This will push Address to Sage as highlighted in the above image. Let\u2019s take an instance where the user have by mistakenly entered a wrong address line. Now to make the changes to the Address in Sage, since not all users of Salesforce have access to Sage X3. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Salesforce to Sage X3 Real-time Update<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Keeping in mind various scenarios that a user might come across while working in Salesforce, GUM<strong>U&#x2122;<\/strong> Integration we have also provided its user an ability to update\/ make changes to addresses from Salesforce to Sage X3 on real-time basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To understand how the real-time changes work we shall continue to work on the same Accounts billing address we promoted earlier. Kindly follow the below steps to update billing Address from Sage to Salesforce:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Open the Linked Account for which you have created and promoted billing Address. And Click on the \u201c<em>Edit<\/em>\u201d button to make the changes as show in the below image:<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/4.-Edit-billing-Address.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/4.-Edit-billing-Address.png\" alt=\"Edit Billing Address\"><\/a><\/center>\n<font size=\"2\"><center><i>Edit Billing Address<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>On click of Edit button, a pop-up window will appear. Here the user can click on \u201c<strong><em>Update<\/em><\/strong>\u201d button for changes to be reflect in Sage.
