In this blog, we will discussing the details about how the user can control the tax calculation on Quotes that needs to be promoted to Sage ERP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To perform enabling &amp; disabling of Tax rule, please follow below mentioned steps. These steps help in displaying\/hiding \u201c<strong>Tax Rate<\/strong>\u201d and \u201c<strong>Tax Amount<\/strong>\u201d field from the \u201c<strong>Add Product Screen<\/strong>\u201d of Sales Quote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Go to \u201c<strong>App Launcher<\/strong>\u201d<\/li><li>Firstly, Click on \u201c<strong>GUMU Settings<\/strong>\u201d<\/li><li>Secondly move to the \u201c<strong>Configuration<\/strong>\u201d tab<\/li><li>Finally, click on the \u201c<strong>Setting<\/strong>\u201d symbol (as shown below image)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/1.-Configuration-Setting.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/1.-Configuration-Setting.jpg\" alt=\"Configuration Setting\"><\/a><\/center>\n<font size=\"2\"><center><i>Configuration Setting<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>&nbsp;In addition under the setting section, you will see an option of \u201c<strong>Enable\/Disable\u201d.<\/strong> With these an accessibility button on whether to Activate or Deactivate Tax on Quote.<\/li><li>This will disable the <strong><em>Enable Tax on Quote<\/em><\/strong> (see the below image).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/2.-Disabled-Tax-on-Quote.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/2.-Disabled-Tax-on-Quote.jpg\" alt=\"Disabled Tax on Quote\"><\/a><\/center>\n<font size=\"2\"><center><i>Disabled Tax on Quote<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The \u201c<strong>Tax Rate<\/strong>\u201d and \u201c<strong>Tax Amount<\/strong>\u201d field will not be displayed on the Add Product screen of Sales Order, if the <strong><em>Tax on Sales Quote<\/em><\/strong> is <strong><em>disabled<\/em><\/strong>.<\/li><li>After that,&nbsp;as you see there is no \u201c<strong>Tax Rule<\/strong>\u201d and \u201c<strong>Tax Amount<\/strong>\u201d field  present on the Add Product screen (refer below image).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/3.-Quote-New-Add-Product-screen-without-Tax-Enabled.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/3.-Quote-New-Add-Product-screen-without-Tax-Enabled.png\" alt=\"Quote New Add Product screen without Tax Enabled\"><\/a><\/center>\n<font size=\"2\"><center><i>Quote New Add Product screen without Tax Enabled<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Similarly, for re-enabling the <strong><em>Tax on Quote<\/em><\/strong>, we need to again visit the configuration page. And click on slide lock of Enable Tax on Quote to Activate the Tax Rule.
