Without ZipCode\/Postal Code it is difficult to identity which Customer stays in which Zone of a particular State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this blog we going to learn how a User can resolve the ZipCode error encountered while Promoting Customer from Salesforce to Sage 100 ERP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To understand the process in a better way lets follow the below points first. Initially to Promote a customer from Salesforce to ERP, it a mandatory for the user to create an Account and provide necessary details as show in the below image. To create an Account follow the below steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Trying to promote the Account<\/span><\/strong><\/em> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Login to <strong><em>Salesforce<\/em><\/strong> and click on <strong><em>App launcher<\/em><\/strong>.<\/li><li>Click on <strong><em>GUMU Integration<\/em><\/strong> App and Click on Accounts Tabs.<\/li><li>To create an Account in Salesforce click on \u201c<strong><em>New\u201d<\/em><\/strong> button located on the upper right hand side of the page.<\/li><li>Enter the required details along with the Address and click on \u201c<strong><em>Save<\/em><\/strong>\u201d.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/1.Salesforce-Account.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/1.Salesforce-Account.png\" alt=\"Salesforce Account Details\"><\/a><\/center>\n<font size=\"2\"><center><i>Salesforce Account Details<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<p>After creating the Account in Salesforce let us try and promote the Account to Sage 100 ERP. To promote the Account to Sage, kindly follow the below steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>On the Account Page layout look for Promote Customer Button on the right hand side.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/2.Promote-Customer-Button.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/2.Promote-Customer-Button.png\" alt=\"Promote Customer Button\"><\/a><\/center>\n<font size=\"2\"><center><i>Promote Customer Button<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>To promote the Account from Salesforce to Sage, click on the button as highlighted in the above image. Upon clicking Salesforce will display a small screen which will ask you to cross verify whether the record you are promoting should be transferred to the defined Sage 100 ERP, refer the below image:<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/3.Integration.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/3.Integration.png\" alt=\"Selecting the Integration\"><\/a><\/center>\n<font size=\"2\"><center><i>Selecting the Integration<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Click on Next, a new window will appear on the screen which will ask the user to select the required values for AR Division, Terms Code, Salesperson and enter unique Customer Number as show in the below image:<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/4.Promote-Customer-Screen.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/4.Promote-Customer-Screen.png\" alt=\"Promote Customer Screen\"><\/a><\/center>\n<font size=\"2\"><center><i>Promote Customer Screen<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Once all the required fields are filled, click on Promote button to send the record from Salesforce to Sage 100 ERP. When the User clicks on Promote button the following error: <strong><em>78767 is not on file.(Bad Request) <\/em><\/strong>as show in the below image:<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/5.-ZipCode-Error.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/5.-ZipCode-Error.png\" alt=\"ZipCode Error\"><\/a><\/center>\n<font size=\"2\"><center><i>ZipCode Error<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>When user  is Promoting an Account to Sage, the integration verifies the mapped field values. The user received the error because the <strong><em>ZipCode: 78767<\/em><\/strong> defined in the billing address on the Account level is not present in Sage 100 ERP.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Fixing the Error in Sage<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to resolve the error, we have to navigate to Sage 100 ERP and create the <strong><em>ZipCode: 78767<\/em><\/strong>. So that the Account that user is trying to promote gets successfully transferred to ERP. To create the ZipCode in Sage 100 ERP, kindly follow the below steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Login to Sage 100 ERP and select the integrated company code to Salesforce.<\/li><li>Expand Modules, Library Master, Setup and click on ZIP Code Maintenance as show in the below image:<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/6.-ZIP-Code-Maintenance-Sage-100-ERP.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/6.-ZIP-Code-Maintenance-Sage-100-ERP.png\" alt=\"ZIP Code Maintenance Sage 100 ERP\"><\/a><\/center>\n<font size=\"2\"><center><i>ZIP Code Maintenance Sage 100 ERP<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Let\u2019s go-ahead and create the Zip Code in Sage 100 ERP for which the user encountered error. Click on Accept for the record to get in Sage 100 ERP.
