GUMU&#x2122; Integration utilizes these Profiles for allowing and restricting access for using the functionality provided by the Integration. System Administrator plays a vital role in Salesforce and has access to overall features of the Org. The same way GUMU&#x2122; integration provides the System Admin rights to allow and restrict the access of the Integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s take an instance wherein a particular User in Salesforce created a new Account and is ready to Promote. He wants that Account to be in Sage (it can either be Sage 100, 300 or X3) but while promoting the Account they encounter an alert message: <strong><em>You do not have permission to access this page. Contact your system administrator to request access. <\/em><\/strong>Refer the below image:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/1.-Alert-Message.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/1.-Alert-Message.png\" alt=\"Alert Message while Promoting Account\"><\/a><\/center>\n<font size=\"2\"><center><i>Alert Message while Promoting Account<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<p>Looking at the alert message displayed in the above image it clearly states to the User that they do not have permission to Promote Accounts. They have to contact their System Administrator to provide them the access of this functionality to be able to promote from Salesforce to Sage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Request Permission and Steps<\/span><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>In this case when the System administrator receives request from the User for access. They simply need to navigate to GUMU&#x2122; Settings application in Salesforce that listed with all the apps in the App Launcher. Refer the below image:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/2.App-launcher.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/2.App-launcher.png\" alt=\"Salesforce App launcher\"><\/a><\/center>\n<font size=\"2\"><center><i>Salesforce App launcher<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<p>Click on \u201c<strong><em>GUMU Settings<\/em><\/strong>\u201d and Go to \u201c<strong><em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/2019\/09\/10\/gumu-features-security-matrix-in-salesforce-lightning-interface\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/2019\/09\/10\/gumu-features-security-matrix-in-salesforce-lightning-interface\/\" target=\"_blank\">Security Matrix<\/a><\/em><\/strong>\u201d Module and select \u201c<strong><em>User<\/em><\/strong>\u201d from the drop-down value provided in the \u201c<strong><em>Security level<\/em><\/strong>\u201d. The Admin needs to make sure to tick the checkbox under <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/2019\/11\/21\/promote-salesforce-account-to-sage-300-customer-using-gumu-lightning-version\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/2019\/11\/21\/promote-salesforce-account-to-sage-300-customer-using-gumu-lightning-version\/\" target=\"_blank\">Promote Customer<\/a> functionality and click on save button. So that the User can easily Promote Accounts to Sage from Salesforce. In this scenario, we used Salesforce Greytrix User and we are going to login to check the functionality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When the User has access to Promote Customer functionality and click on Promote Customer button present on the Account. A window pops up for confirmation of the integration the record will be associated with (be it Sage 100, Sage 300 or Sage X3).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/6.-Promote-Customer.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/6.-Promote-Customer.png\" alt=\"Promote Customer Screen Option\"><\/a><\/center>\n<font size=\"2\"><center><i>Promote Customer Screen Option<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<p>In above scenario we have worked upon Sage 100 ERP but same steps can be performed when the integration is configured for Sage 300 and X3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to send the particular record to ERP, User needs click on \u201c<strong><em>Next<\/em><\/strong>\u201d button and fill all the values and click on \u201c<strong><em>Promote<\/em><\/strong>\u201d Button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Note<\/em><\/strong>: All the steps above should be performed by and Admin when a User encounters the following Alert message while Promoting Sales Orders and Updating Customer from Salesforce to Sage: <strong><em>You do not have permission to access this page.
