This blog will further explore how users can <strong><em>Bulk Update<\/em><\/strong> Accounts and their related objects (Contact &amp; Address) from Salesforce to Sage. Before moving forward, kindly refer to our previous blog on creating an individual Account in Salesforce and <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/2019\/11\/21\/promote-salesforce-account-to-sage-300-customer-using-gumu-lightning-version\/\" target=\"_blank\">promoting it in ERP System<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Follow the below steps to Update multiple (Account, Contact, Address) from Salesforce to ERP system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Firstly, login to Salesforce.<\/li><li>Secondly, navigate to app launcher and select \u201c<strong>GUMU Integration<\/strong>\u201d from app list.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/1_GUMU-Integration.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/1_GUMU-Integration.png\" alt=\"GUMU-Integration\"><\/a><\/center>\n<font size=\"2\"><center><i>GUMU-Integration<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>After that, user can click on the \u201c<strong>Bulk Update<\/strong>\u201d tab, as shown in the above image.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/2_Bulk_Update_Tab.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/2_Bulk_Update_Tab.png\" alt=\"Bulk_Update_Tab\"><\/a><\/center>\n<font size=\"2\"><center><i>Bulk_Update_Tab<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Then, user will get three mini tabs (Account, Contact, Address) every tab has different functionality.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/3_Bulk_Update_Account.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/3_Bulk_Update_Account.png\" alt=\"Bulk_Update_Account\"><\/a><\/center>\n<font size=\"2\"><center><i>Bulk_Update_Account<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>User will notice <strong><em>&#8220;Bulk Update Account&#8221;<\/em><\/strong> as the first tab. It lists Salesforce Accounts which are promoted and linked to a customer record in ERP. In addition, you can search the particular Account by using the search box.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Or can use multiple filters according to your condition as shown in the below image. For using filter, click on the filter Icon then one block will be display which is shown in below image.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/5_Bulk_Update_filter.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/5_Bulk_Update_filter.png\" alt=\"Bulk_Update_Filter\"><\/a><\/center>\n<font size=\"2\"><center><i>Bulk_Update_Filter<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>As you can see in the above image, the user can add multiple filters by selecting conditions and clicking on add. Users can remove the state by clicking on the cross sign shown in the image (ii). After adding conditions, users can click on Apply button to the filter record, and they will be displayed accordingly.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Account Bulk Update<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In the Account, tab the user can see three columns which are <ul><li><strong>\u201cAccount Name\u201d<\/strong> is the Account name from the Salesforce, <\/li><li><strong>\u201cCustomer No\u201d<\/strong> is the Customer no of the ERP system.<\/li><li><strong>\u201cStatus\u201d<\/strong> is used to show updates for the records being sent to the ERP system.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>\u00a0<b>By<\/b> default, there are no symbols in the Status column, which means this record is not updated from its creation. The green color is for success. When a user clicks on the \u201cstatus icon,\u201d it will show the Success message with the date and time. An example is shown in below image.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/6_Bulk_Update_Status_success.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/6_Bulk_Update_Status_success.png\" alt=\"Bulk_Update_Status_Success\"><\/a><\/center>\n<font size=\"2\"><center><i>Bulk_Update_Status_Success<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If the record is not update successfully, then the status icon will be Red. When the user clicks on the &#8220;status icon&#8221;, it will show the error message why the operation failed. Example is given in the image below.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/7_Bulk_Update_Status_Error.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/7_Bulk_Update_Status_Error.png\" alt=\"Bulk_Update_Status_Error\"><\/a><\/center>\n<font size=\"2\"><center><i>Bulk_Update_Status_Error<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Working in Tabs:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In Account tab user can also Update Contact and Address as well by use check box which is shown in the below image.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/8_Bulk_Update_Contact_Address_Checkbox.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/8_Bulk_Update_Contact_Address_Checkbox.png\" alt=\"Bulk_Update_Contact_Address_Checkbox\"><\/a><\/center>\n<font size=\"2\"><center><i>Bulk_Update_Contact_Address_Checkbox<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>As shown in the above image, when user selects the &#8220;Contact&#8221; check box, the Contact mini tab will be disabled. User can click the \u201cUpdate\u201d button which will select all promoted record for an update. Example is shown in the image below.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/9_Bulk_Update_Updatebutton.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/9_Bulk_Update_Updatebutton.png\" alt=\"Bulk_Update_Updatebutton\"><\/a><\/center>\n<font size=\"2\"><center><i>Bulk_Update_Updatebutton<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>As you can see in the above image, users can select multiple records simultaneously, and they can update it all by clicking on the Update button. Selected Accounts and Contacts are processed for an update to the ERP system. And this will work in the same manner with the Address Checkbox.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In conclusion, by using this new GUMU&#x2122; functionality, we hope users can update multiple Customers from Salesforce to Sage ERP.
