By using the Schema Builder, user can easily add fields in a short span of time.<\/p>\n<p>To add fields to an object from the schema builder follow the below steps &#8211;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Step 1<\/strong>: Navigate to Setup -&gt; Deploy (Under App setup). Click on Schema Builder.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Step 2<\/strong>: The Schema Builder will load as shown below<a href=\"http:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/SchemaBuilder1.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-699\" src=\"http:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/SchemaBuilder1.jpg\" alt=\"SchemaBuilder1\" width=\"724\" height=\"330\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Step 3<\/strong>: In the left hand side there are two tabs \u201cElements\u201d and \u201cObjects\u201d. We can find object by using search box and select it. (For E.g. Account)<a href=\"http:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/SchemaBuilder2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-700\" src=\"http:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/SchemaBuilder2.jpg\" alt=\"SchemaBuilder2\" width=\"634\" height=\"469\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Step 4<\/strong>: Then click on Elements tab in the left pane which contains all the field type list.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/SchemaBuilder3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-701\" src=\"http:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/SchemaBuilder3.jpg\" alt=\"SchemaBuilder3\" width=\"630\" height=\"666\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Step 5<\/strong>: You can just drag and drop the field in the schema section in right hand side pane. Suppose, we are going to add text field then just drag \u201cText\u201d element into the Account dialog box.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Step 6<\/strong>: Once the element is dragged and dropped then a new popup window will appear as shown below &#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/SchemaBuilder4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-702\" src=\"http:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/SchemaBuilder4.jpg\" alt=\"SchemaBuilder4\" width=\"696\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Step 7<\/strong>: Fill the object information into the popup window and hit save.
