In this article, we\u2019ll walk through how to create a custom field in Payments, then fetch and display it in the Accounts Enquiry screen using a simple 4GL script.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

1. Problem Overview<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Users needed a way to view a specific date captured during Payments\/Receipt<\/strong> Entry directly in Accounts Enquiry<\/strong>. Since this field was not standard, it had to be added and fetched programmatically.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

2. Create the Custom Field in Payments<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

  1. Navigate to: Development > Data and Parameters > Tables<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
