Order Processing in Sage X3
Once a sales order is generated in Sage X3, the operations team in an organization will process the order. The order goes through a number of stages before it is finally shipped out of the organization. The various stages involved in order processing in Sage X3 are:
- Validation of Order
- Creation of Delivery Document in Sage X3
- Processing of Order in Sage X3
- Generation of Invoice for Order in Sage X3
The warehouse team in any organization creates a delivery document in Sage X3 to confirm the order shipment. Once a delivery document is created for the order in Sage X3, the finance team in any organization creates an invoice for the order.

Fulfillment Updates Sent Back to Shopify
Once delivery and invoicing are complete in Sage X3, GUMU™ will recognize these updates and sync them back into Shopify.
The GUMU™ integration will sync important order fulfillment information into Shopify, such as:
- Fulfillment status
- Quantities shipped
- Ship confirmation
- Invoice information
In turn, this will ensure that the order in Shopify is marked as fulfilled, allowing customers and staff to easily view the order status.
