Currently in the ‘Enter Sales Order and Quotes’ task user can view the Gross Profit Amount and Percent for a single line item. Please refer the below screenshot.
If a user wants to view the total Gross Profit for the entire Sales Order then user has to list and then total the profit amounts for every line item. We, at Greytrix, have customized the ‘Enter Sales Order and Quotes’ task extending the standard functionality so that user can also view the Gross Profit for the total Sales Order. In the ‘Enter Sales Orders and Quotes’ screen (Sales Order ->Activities), we have added a button named ‘Margin’. Please refer the below screenshot.
When the user clicks the ‘Margin’ button, a screen named ‘Profit Margin’ will appear which displays the Margin details of the selected line as well as of the total order. Please refer the below screenshot.
