Show Screen During Run Time in Sage 100 ERP

In this blog, we will discuss as how can we show screen in runtime which closes immediately and automatically after opening.
Issue: During development, sometimes we need to create a new screen and menu for accessing Sage 100. But, when we try to open screen, we see a blink (indicating the screen is opened, but closes immediately).
Reason: The above issue comes when the “Dialogue” checkbox of the Panel is kept un-checked.

Solution: Follow below mentioned steps to solve issue:
  • Open NOMADS screen modifying the panels

Note: To open the screen, type “NOM” in “IT” editor and click enter.

  • Now, open the Main screen panel for editing & go to properties window.
  • Mark the value of “Dialogue” property as checked.

Thus, by checking the Dialogue check, you can show your new screen in Sage 100 application.
