New Stuff: Migrate customer from Sage 100 ERP to Sage 300 ERP.

Today, we will discuss about the error we received in fetching Sage 100 data using Microsoft Excel. We were trying to import data into Excel from Sage 100 and during this process after selecting MAS90 DSN received below error.

import data into Excel from Sage 100After applying various solutions for couple of hours finally we got below solution which was helpful for this error. Actually this error was occurring because we were connecting Sage 100 DSN through OLEDB (i.e. Data -> From Other Sources -> From data connection wizard) and Sage 100 DSN only connect through the ODBC. There is one option named ‘From Microsoft Query’ which can be used to connect Sage 100 Company’s database from Excel. We used this option and able to import data into Excel successfully.
