Steps to perform the functionality

  • Navigate to Setup → Search for Permission Sets
  • Select the “Send Daily Integration Statistics” permission set
  • Click Manage Assignments.

  • For sending attachments with emails, adjust the email attachment settings to configure how attachments are handled.  
    Follow these steps:
    • Navigate to Setup – Click on the gear icon in the top-right corner and select Setup.Search for “Email Attachments” – Open the Email Attachment Settings.
    • Select the third option, which is “Include as attachment up to Salesforce email size limit or as links if more.”
    • Lastly, click Save to apply the new settings.

Scheduling the Functionality

  • Navigate to Setup, search for “Scheduled Jobs” in the Quick Find box, and open it.
  • Then, click on “Schedule Apex” to set up the job.

  • Then, enter the job name “Send Daily Integration Statistics” and select the ‘DailyIntegrationStatisticsBatch’ Apex class in the Apex Class field.

  • Lastly, schedule the Apex job using either Schedule Builder or a Cron Expression, then click Save.

Let’s take an example: The user is importing Products from ERP to Salesforce, and a failure occurs during the sync.

In this case, the user will receive a email as per the scheduled time just like the one shown below, with clear details of the failure count and a CSV log file attached for further analysis.
