Keeping your Salesforce org in sync with your ERP data shouldn’t require manual effort every time. With our GUMU™ Settings App enhancement, users can now automatically update the Last Sync Value for any import routine, making incremental syncs smoother, faster, and more reliable.

In the GUMU™ Settings App → Entity Mapping / Import tab, each import routine has a Last Sync Value field that controls the starting date for the next sync. With this feature enabled, you can set the system to automatically update this date to today’s date during the next sync run, removing the need for manual updates.

How It Works

To automatically update the Last Sync Value to the current date, follow the steps below:

  • Click the Edit button next to any import routine in the Entity Mapping / Import tab.
  • Choose the correct Last Sync Field (e.g., DateUpdated).
  • Set the Last Sync Value to any date from which you want the sync to begin.
    • Set Update Last Sync by Days = 0 and click Save.

  • Click the Sync Now button.

  • Once the sync runs, the Last Sync Value will automatically update to today’s date.
  • Refresh your browser, navigate back to the Import Routine, and confirm that the Last Sync Value now reflects the current date.
