- Is promoted as a Customer in Sage 100
The objective was not to restrict or approve the promotion process, but to ensure proper visibility and tracking of newly created ERP customers.
We have implemented the following customization to meet this requirement.
- When a user clicks Promote Customer in Sage CRM,
- The customer record is successfully created in Sage 100,
- Immediately after successful creation, an escalation email is automatically triggered,
- The email is sent to predefined recipients such as the Finance team or Management.
This ensures that key stakeholders are informed in real time.
The escalation email framework is completely customizable based on business requirements.
Organizations can configure:
- The recipients
- The subject line
- The content and structure of the email
- The triggering conditions
This flexibility allows the solution to align with internal compliance policies, approval hierarchies, and reporting standards.
Similarly, we have implemented the same approach to trigger escalation emails when a Sage CRM Order is promoted into Sage 100, ensuring consistent real-time visibility for both master data and transactional promotions within the integrated environment.
