We recently rolled out the WooCommerce – Sage 300c integration to help companies optimize efficiency, ease inventory management and improve Order fulfillment. We are excited to inform an update or extension to this integration. With the latest update now it’s possible to have Orders with Order notes in WooCommerce updated after being successfully synced to Sage 300c through the integration of WooCommerce with Sage 300c.
When an order is first introduced in WooCommerce, it gets its own Order ID assigned by WooCommerce and when the same Order is transferred to the Sage 300c ERP, a unique Order ID is assigned by Sage 300c. To make it easier for the admin user who handles the orders in both the systems to identify the order, we made it easier to get the reference of the order ID from WooCommerce in Sage 300 order and to update the Sage 300c order ID into the WooCommerce order notes field for easy identification.
The benefits are as follows:
- Getting to know easily the corresponding record made in Sage 300c for each Order using the Order ID which is automatically added to the WooCommerce Order notes.
- Order tracking accuracy on both sides will be improved through the real-time updates of both systems.
- Support customer service by having the Order information up to date and easy to access. Reinforce audit trails with automated and clear records of Order sync activity.
Make the interaction of sales and accounting teams more efficient and thus lead to smoother operations.
How it works:
- The customer places an Order and makes the payment through WooCommerce.
GUMU™ identifies the Orders of Completed or Processing status and gathers all the Order details. - Order with the information regarding the customer, Order details, taxes, and others is created in Sage 300c by GUMU™.
- After GUMU™ gets the integration working, it adds the Sage 300c Order ID to the WooCommerce Order notes, thus greatly simplifying the process of reviewing, verifying, and tracking synchronized records.

The upgrade of Order syncing together with the automatic updates of Order IDs has strengthened even more our WooCommerce–Sage 300c integration.
