The Salesforce Winter’15 release has provided some useful features for those using the Salesforce1 app. Salesforce 1 is the mobile app version of Salesforce. One of the features that has been provided in Winter’15 is the ability to convert leads on the Salesforce1 app.
Now the sales reps can directly convert leads into accounts/contacts/opportunities using Salesforce1 app on their mobile devices. The sales reps can create new accounts while converting the leads. This feature needs to be enabled in the setup before it can be used. To enable, follow the below steps –
- Navigate to Setup >> Build >> Customize >> Leads >> Settings.
- Click on Edit in the Lead Conversion Settings section.
- Select the ‘Enable Conversions on the Salesforce1 App’ checkbox and Save.
