Strengthening Access Control with New User Permissions in GUMU™ Sage CRM – Sage Intacct Integration

GUMU™ for Sage CRM – Sage Intacct integration is a real-time bi-directional link which sync customer data from Sage CRM to Sage Intacct and vice versa.

To enhance security and data governance, the latest version of GUMU™ introduces a User Permission Settings feature. This enhancement enables administrators to control user access more precisely by assigning permissions company-wise for specific Sage Intacct companies.

How to Configure User Permissions

System Administrators can navigate to:

Administration → Sage Intacct → User Permission Settings

From this section, they can:

  • Add new permission records
  • Assign permissions company-wise
  • Edit existing configurations
  • Manage user-level access

Permissions are assigned per Sage Intacct Company ID, ensuring structured and controlled access across multiple entities.

Permission Behavior Overview

Here’s how the permissions function:

  • View AP Bills – Restricts access to Vendor Summary (payables information).
  • Vendor Receipt History – Controls visibility of vendor receipt records.
  • View Purchase Orders – Grants access to Vendor Purchase Order Inquiry.
  • Promote Vendors – Controls vendor-related actions and AP invoice history access.
  • View Vendor Info – Restricts sensitive costing details such as Last Cost and Average Cost in the Inventory screen.
  • View Vendor Invoices – Controls access to vendor invoice details.
