How to Setup Zip Code in Sage 100

In our last blog we discussed about How to setup Country Code in Sage 100. Here we are going to see how to setup zip code in the Sage 100. Sage 100 doesn’t allow user to enter or select zip code anywhere in ERP unless it’s defined in the Sage 100 zip code maintenance.
As shown in below screenshot, suppose a user tries to enter the unknown zip code against customer which is not present into Sage 100 Company database. It will display prompt message asking “Is this a new Zip Code?”
  1. If user selects YES option, then it takes to zip code maintenance screen. In the below     screen when you enter Zip Code in the Zip code field and click on YES to add the zip code.

  1. Enter the City, State and country. Click on OK to save. After saving the zip code record, a code is displayed at ‘Country’ field on AR Customer Maintenance screen.

A straight way to add a new country code in sage 100 is to open Sage 100 Company and go to
Library maintenance >> Main>>Zip Code Maintenance and all new Zip code in Sage 100.
