Custom Settings in Salesforce – Part 2

In one of our previous blogs, we discussed regarding Custom Settings in Salesforce. This blog describes the implementation of custom settings. Let’s take a simple example for Custom Setting –

Real-time, bi-directional, multi-company – Sage ERP Integration with Salesforce

Create simple VF page for Custom Setting :CS_2_1

Now see in Force.com :CS_2_2

 Insert records in Custom Setting : CS_2_3

Details of Records:CS_2_4

Let’s take an example of record type for custom Setting :
You need to create record typeCS_2_5

Once you create record type find its id, which is present in the url as shown below – CS_2_6

Now you need to Create Custom Setting Object –CS_2_8

Set Record type Id –CS_2_9

With the help of Record type, you will create records in the Custom object:CS_2_10

Created Records :CS_2_11

With the help of below code, it is possible to easily create records – CS_2_12
