GUMU™ Feature: Experience Real-time Product Inquiry on Quote Line Item in Salesforce – Sage 100 Integration

In this blog, we’ll discuss the new feature in the GUMU™ Integration, Real-time Product Inquiry on Quote Line which allows users to view real-time product information while adding or updating line items on the Quote Line Item screen in Salesforce. Follow the steps below to get real-time pricing from the Sage 100 system.

  • Login to Salesforce.
  • Navigate to the App Launcher and select “GUMU™ Setting” from the app list. Go to the configuration tab.
  • Click on the ERP Configuration settings and enable the “Enable Product Inquiry” feature.

  • Navigate to the Opportunity tab and create a new Opportunity.
  • Fill in all the required information under the opportunity and create a new Quote with the necessary fields.
  • Click on the “New ERP Product” button on the Quote tab.

  • Once on the screen, user needs to select the “Product Code” from the lookup.
  • After selecting the Product Code, GUMU™ will fetch a real-time inquiry of that respective product from Sage 100.
  • Finally, to verify the details for the Product expand the “Product Inquiry” section.

To verify the promoted information in Sage 100 ERP or to view the details showed on the Real-time Product Inquiry on Quote Line Item follow these steps:

  • Open the Inventory Management Module, click on Item Inquiry, and select the item from the Item Code Lookup.
  • In the “Quantity” section, you can see product information such as On Hand, On Purchase Order, On Sales Order, etc., across various warehouses.
