Our Product GUMU™ Integration offers real-time bi-directional link which syncs data from Salesforce to Sage ERP and vice versa. In this blog, we will be discussing an important “Real-time pricing” feature of GUMU™ Product while creating a new Sales Order record.

Now coming to the Order Items part where the Real-Time fetching of the Pricing Structure from Sage 100 comes into action.
- Fill the required information seen on “Order Information” and “ERP Information” tab.
- Click on “Add Product” button which is on the “Order Line” tab.
- Select the “Product Code” from the lookup.
- After Selecting the Product Code, GUMU™ will fetch the real-time pricing of that respective Product from Sage 100 by calling another web service in the background.
Please note User can see the same pricing at Sage 100 side to the same Product in the order screen. Also the pricing on the Salesforce GUMU™ Order – Product page further recalculates the pricing whenever user changes the factors that affect the calculation e.g.: quantity, warehouse, etc. But once the user edits the price manually, then the fetching will be stopped.
To see the pricing structure at Sage 100 side, follow the below steps:
- Open Inventory Management Module and Click on Item Maintenance and select Item from the Item code Lookup.
- Click on Pricing button, you can see the “Item Pricing Maintenance” pop up where unit price is set according the price level and quantity of order as shown in the below image.
Coming back to the GUMU’s Salesforce Lightning Component interface.
- User can click on “Save” button on the Product entry, to add the Product to the Order and hit the “Save & Promote” button on the main screen to Promote the Sales Order record to Sage 100.
- Sales Order get promoted from Salesforce to Sage 100 and we get the ERP Order Number from Sage 100 in the list.
