Set Recurrence for a New Task in SageCRM

The existing SageCRM functionality allows you to create a new “recursive” Appointments but not a recursive Tasks. I am not sure why this two way approach was implemented. I am sure there must be a lot of thought process involved in this one. But I can have recursive tasks just the same way I can have recursive appointments and Greytrix modification will just allow you to do just that.

The requirement would be to have a recursive button for my tasks in SageCRM just the same way I have for my appointments.

To incorporate the same, I have written the script and here it is for you. Put the below script in custom content Box of your communication scheduling box.

This will open the standard recursive settings window for tasks just like it does for the appointments. Now you just have to handle the routine to populate the details of the recurrence screen back into the communication screen.
