The GUMU™ for Sage CRM – Sage 100 Integration is a real-time, bi-directional link that seamlessly connects Sage CRM and Sage 100. This integration synchronizes customer and vendor data between the two systems, allowing businesses to maintain consistent and accurate records.
Managing customer and vendor data across CRM and ERP systems is one of the most common operational challenges organizations face today. This becomes even more complex when a single business entity operates through multiple legal entities, branches, or billing structures within the ERP system. In such cases, the traditional one-to-one synchronization model is often not sufficient.
To address this requirement, we implemented a One-to-Many Company Linking customization within GUMU™ for Sage CRM – Sage 100 Integration for one of our Client. This enhancement allows a single CRM Company to be linked with multiple Sage 100 customer or vendor accounts — providing a consolidated ERP view without duplicating CRM records.
Under a standard integration approach, each Sage 100 customer typically maps to a separate CRM Company record. This results in:
- Fragmented customer visibility
- Duplicate CRM entries
- Inconsistent reporting
- Increased manual reconciliation
The One-to-Many linking customization eliminates these challenges by allowing multiple ERP accounts to associate with a single CRM Company record — creating a unified and accurate customer view.
Users with appropriate permissions can link multiple Sage 100 customer or vendor accounts to one CRM Company via a dedicated Linked Companies tab.
During the linking process, users can select:
- Sage 100 Company Code
- Customer or Vendor Number
The relationship is stored in a custom mapping structure, ensuring ERP data remains in Sage 100 while being intelligently referenced within CRM — without unnecessary replication.

When multiple ERP accounts are linked, one account is designated as the Default Company.
The Default Company determines:
- Credit limit and payment terms
- Assigned salesperson
- Year-to-date and last invoice details
- Pricing and tax schedule behavior
- Transactional defaults for quotes and orders
If the default account is changed, the CRM summary fields automatically reflect the selected ERP account’s data — ensuring consistent and accurate transaction handling.

The enhancement integrates seamlessly with GUMU™ inquiry screens, including:
- AR Inquiry
- Order Inquiry
- Sales Summary
- Item Sales Details
By default, data for the designated Default account loads first. Users can easily switch between linked accounts to view real-time ERP data — all without leaving Sage CRM. Similarly while creating quotes or orders within CRM:
- System values such as tax schedule, pricing, terms, and credit rules automatically populate from the Default account.
- Users may choose another linked account if required for that transaction.
By enabling multiple Sage 100 customer or vendor records to associate with a single CRM Company, businesses can maintain data integrity, reduce duplication, and gain comprehensive visibility across sales, service, and financial operations.
