Understanding Logs in GUMU™ Cloud Integrations

In this blog, we will be discussing on the GUMU logs feature of GUMU™ Cloud Integrations 

Greytrix has developed several connectors that integrate data between two systems, which can be ERP, CRM, and eCommerce platforms. GUMU is a sync-based platform that integrates data between source and target systems. The information of sync is added in the logs section. The tracking of synced records can be viewed in the logs section of the GUMU UI. The logs recorded under this section include Info, Error, Warning, and Debug logs.

  • Info logs display the records that have been successfully retrieved from the source system and successfully synced into the target system. In short, these logs provide information about successful operations, such as adding and updating records.
  • Error logs display the errors encountered during the record syncing process. The error messages are typically generated by the target system and may be related to validation errors. In short, these logs provide information about integration errors, such as records that have failed to sync.
  • Warning logs display records that have been added to the target system with some warning messages. These types of messages are tracked in the Warning logs section.
  • Debug logs are intended purely for developers to investigate issues, replicate problems, or identify the root cause of a sync failure. In short, these logs are for developer use.

Note: GUMU does not store Source and Target systems information in the GUMU database; it only stores the record ID information to display in the logs section.
