Allow/Restrict Salesforce user access to ERP data with GUMU™ Security Matrix

With GUMU™ Integration you can have better control of the way data is managed/shared in your organization. The Security Matrix of GUMU integration allows you to give access rights to various GUMU features like Administration, promote customer, sales order and Real-time customer details. It will affect to individual user or the Profile users.


Use below steps to assign security.

  1. Login to Salesforce.
  2. Go to Administration Tab.
  3. Click on the Security Matrix Tab to open the Security Matrix page.
  4. Once you click on the tab, it will display all the default profiles with ERP features in table format.
  5. We have two levels of Security “Profile” and “User”. After selection of profile, all profiles will load into table.
  6. Allow/restrict access rights to the profile. Once you assign rights then will affect to all users of that Profile or individual user.
  7. After Assigning permissions, click on “Save” button to reflect the changes.
  8. Also you can select security level “User” to assign user level security. Please refer below screenshot.SecurityMatrixUser
  9. Assign permissions to user and click on “Save” button to reflect changes.

Using the above screen, Salesforce System administrator can allow/restrict access of a user to any GUMU features by just checking/unchecking the checkbox against the user.
