As we know Sage CRM is a combination of all the modules which are important for the business. From that Quote is one of the important and highly usable modules. Recently we have one query from our one of the client, related to the New Line Item buttons are not showing on Quote summary screen. As there are many buttons on the quote summary screen which are predefine and ‘Line Item’ buttons are one of the predefined buttons.
New Stuff: Error on Favourites List in Sage CRM
On investigation, we found that one of the standard fields from the quote summary is accidentally removed by the user. In this blog, we discussed how we can enable Line item buttons on the quote summary screen. After some findings, we found that the ‘Pricing List’ field from the quote summary is missing. That’s the reason predefine buttons of Line items are disabled.
Note: In standard Sage CRM there is ‘Pricing List’ field is available on quote summary.
To enable the Line items button we need to add the missing standard field i.e. ‘Pricing List’ on the quote summary. Follow the below steps to add a field on Quote summary.
1. Navigate to Administration -> Customization -> Quotes
2. Navigate to Screens tab and Click on ‘Quote Summary’
Then to verify the change, the user needs to create a new quote. After creating a new quote user can see all the line item buttons with existing buttons. Below is the summary screen after adding a ‘Pricing List’ field.
In this way, the user can enable the line item buttons in the above scenario without any coding by just adding a standard missing field.
