GUMU for Sage CRM – Sage 100 integration is a real-time bi-directional link where we synchronize all the customer data from Sage 100 to Sage CRM and vice versa. Using GUMU integration, we have displayed most of the information directly from Sage 100 in a custom tab in Sage CRM.

In this blog, we will go through a new feature that we have added to our latest GUMU™ Integration Product which will give you the flexibility of displaying/hiding the cost-related field on the GUMU™ Tabs (View ERP Data Tabs) and Find Inventory Tab.
You can hide the Cost field on the GUMU™ Tab and Find Inventory Tab by following the below-mentioned steps.
- Log in to the CRM application note your user must have administrative privileges.
- Navigate to Administration -> Sage 100 Administration -> Security Matrix. Security Matrix allows you to oversee the permissions and access controls for each user of Sage CRM.
- Uncheck the View Cost Checkbox to hide the cost fields for a particular user.
- Save the modifications and execute the Meta Data Refresh once to ensure the changes are applied.
Let us understand this with an example.
Suppose you want to hide the cost fields for the user accounts that belong to the Salespersons. You can navigate to the security matrix and remove the checkmark from the View Cost Checkbox corresponding to the identified individuals. This step will prevent Salesperson users from accessing cost-related fields within the GUMU™ tabs and Find Inventory screens.
