New stuff: Salesperson Maintenance in Sage 500 ERP
‘Maintain Other Addresses’ screen allows us to define multiple addresses for the customer. Customer may have one primary address and multiple Bill-To and Ship-To addresses. These addresses are available regardless of whether the sales order module is integrated or not. This screen is invoked by selecting on ‘Other Addresses’ button on the Main page of ‘Customer Maintenance screen’.
This screen includes several pieces of information such as currency, language, shipping information, sales tax schedule, salesperson and sales territory. The Main tab includes Address and Contact section as given below:
The Map button, which is present below the street address on main tab, shows the map of the address in the Internet Explorer. Latitude and Longitude must be entered as a pair, either both fields have a value or neither fields has a value.
‘Bill-To/Ship-To’ tab contains Billing, Shipping, Sales and Currency sections. The message entered in Invoice Message box will be printed at the bottom of the invoice form during invoice printing. Sales Tax button opens the ‘Sales Tax Schedule’ screen, which includes sales tax information. Residential checkbox is a ‘yes/no’ indicator that the address is a residential address.
Third tab named as ‘Sales Order’ consist of Acknowledgements, Shipping, Forms and Required Shipping Documents sections. ‘Required Shipping Documents’ section displays list of documents with checkbox. The Form section includes Acknowledgement form, Label form and Packing List.
