Promoting Billing Address from Salesforce to Sage ERP X3

In our previous blog, we had seen how to Promote Shipping Address from Salesforce to Sage X3 using GUMU™ Integration. Now, we will see how to promote multiple Billing Addresses from Salesforce to Sage X3.

Pre-requisite- An Account in Salesforce should already be linked with the Sage X3 Customer. Now for promoting a new Billing Address,
– > Open a linked Account in Salesforce.
– > Go to its related list of Addresses. You will see an already an already existing list of Addresses.

Click on New Address button

– > Click on new Address button you will be redirected to a new page.
– > Fill in the necessary details such as Address Code, State, City and so on.

Fill in details for Promoting Address

– > In the dropdown for Shipping select “No” and if you want this Address to be your default Address then select “Yes” for Is Default Address drop-down.
– > Then if you don’t want to push this Address from Salesforce to ERP and you only want this Address to be stored in Salesforce then click on “Save”.
– > If you want to promote this Address then click on “Save & Promote”.

Address gets promoted in ERP

The Address will be promoted by Salesforce and will be displayed in “Addresses” screen of your ERP.

If you wish to update an already present Billing Address then simply edit the Address and click on “Save & Promote” and the Address will be updated in your ERP. This way, All the Address information entered in Salesforce is thus passed to Sage X3 for the corresponding Customer.
