Salesperson Mapping functionality in GUMU™ with Sage 100 ERP – Part 2

In our previous blog (Salesperson mapping functionality in GUMU™ with Sage 100 ERP) we have explained how users can integrate the Account Owner field in Salesforce with the “Sales Rep” field in Sage 100.

In this blog (which is part 2 of the series) we will be explaining how changing the “Record Owner” in Salesforce affect the update to “Salesperson” value assigned to the Sage 100 ERP Customer record.

Prerequisite:- We have already mapped the sales person to the account owner we selected in the images for this blog.

Mapped Salesperson to a SF User

Steps to change account owner in Salesforce which automatically changes the salesperson in Sage 100 ERP due to Bi-directional functionality of GUMU™:-

  • Go to “GUMU Integration” in the App Launcher
  • Click on Accounts tab
  • Select & Click the link on the “Account Name” for which you want to change the owner.

  • After selecting the account for which you want to change the owner click on account owner field on the account detail page.

  • On clicking Account owner field it populates a window where you can choose the owner of your choice from the drop down list.

  • After selecting an owner from the list as shown in the image above, the account owner changes refer the image below.
Changed Account Owner
  • Since we have changed the owner of the account in Salesforce its effect can be seen in Sage 100 ERP as well where the salesperson field is changed with the account owner we selected.
