This post is in continuation of my previous blogs written on outlook integration and its features. As you know, outlook integration is a client dependent application and sometimes you face very strange errors while using it.

Nowadays, everyone is upgrading to latest technologies of OS and related applications. People who use SageCRM and outlook integration to sync their contacts and emails have to be alert while doing this though. There are chances of integration getting broken.
Recently, one of my customers had upgraded his Microsoft office 2010 package to 2013. Somehow connectivity between CRM and outlook got broken. I started getting below error on clicking of Sync button.

I tried uninstalling the plugin from Outlook to create a new link between both the systems but it throws the same error and also, reinstalling outlook integration from within CRM was not helping.
After going through lot of reference material I found below link which helped resolving this problem.
Uninstalling the  Outlook Plug-in for Classic Outlook Integration
By following the suggestion given in this link I was asked to restart the computer to bring the change into effect.  After this I was able to successfully uninstall the outlook plugin from Outlook and newly installed setup is working smoothly on Microsoft office 2013.
