In our GUMU™ Sage CRM – Sage 100 Integration, while creating Order from Sage CRM to Sage 100, it throws a credit limit warning message for a customer when credit limit exceeds. But in this case, still user can promote that order to Sage 100.
New Stuff: New Feature in GUMU for Sage CRM – Sage 100 Integration – Quick Order Entry
Recently, we come across a requirement from client, where he wanted to
a. Restrict Sage CRM user from promoting order if credit limit exceeds for a customer.
b. He wanted such orders to be promoted to Sage 100 only when manager (other Sage CRM user) approves it.
This was the common requirement we received from couple of our other clients, so we just added this functionality in our GUMU™ Sage CRM – Sage 100 Integration Standard product as a new feature.
For this, we just added a new checkbox on the Sage CRM Order summary screen with name ‘Allow Credit Exceed’. This checkbox needs to be checked by Sage CRM user who is a Manager to allow that order to be promoted even if credit limit is exceeded for that particular customer.
Sage CRM System Administrator need to keep above ‘Allow Credit Exceed’ checkbox editable only for those Sage CRM users who are Manager using field security feature of Standard Sage CRM.
