GUMU™ for Sage CRM – Sage 100 integration is a real-time, bi-directional link. In our last post, we went through the GUMU Integration Chart Feature In Sage 100. Recently, we have added a feature where the Sage CRM system administrator can map Sage 100 users with Sage CRM users. Today in this blog post, we will go through this functionality.
Recently one of our clients requested a new customization for mapping Sage X3 salespersons to Sage CRM users. For this customization, we developed a functionality from which the Sage CRM users can be mapped manually with the Sage X3 Salespersons. This functionality enables the integration between a Sage CRM Account Manager and Sage X3 Salesperson.
As per this implemented functionality, If you import a customer from Sage X3 using the GUMU Import routine, which has “Susan Maye” as a salesperson. Then in Sage CRM while editing/updating that Company, the Account Manager value will be set as “System Administrator” as that is the Sage CRM user mapped with “Susan Maye” in the Salesperson Mapping.
So now, let’s walk through the steps to map a Sage CRM user with Sage X3 user.
- For the mapping of the Sage CRM user with the Sage X3 user click on Administration à Sage X3 à Map Sage CRM Users.
- After opening the Map Sage CRM Users page à Click on Next Button and then click on the Find button, you will be able to see the above-attached Screen.
- Here select the Sage CRM User Name against the Sage X3 Salesperson Name that you want to map and click on the Save Button.
- Once you Save the mapping, then you need to Import the customers for the mappings to be reflected against the Customer records.
Following the above steps, you will be able to Map the Sage X3 Sales Rep with the “Account Manager” against the Company records in Sage CRM.
