Details about GUMU™ External UID field

GUMU™ Integration uses External UID to identify the Records that have been imported from Sage ERP system to Salesforce Org.

External UID is a unique record that identifies the Customer and Product masters and gives information about the integration key along with the corresponding Customer Number and Product Number values present in the integrated Sage ERP system.

Since this field is a unique field, the external UID will not have a chance of duplication for the integrated records.

Say, for example, a Customer is synced from Sage ERP system to Salesforce org, an External UID Field is updated with the following format:  Integration Key + “-” + Sage ERP Customer Number.

This feature is helpful for the users to explore the Unlink Account and Link Account functionality that comes with the GUMUTM Integration package.
