Our Product GUMU™ Integration offers a real-time bi-directional link which syncs data from Salesforce to Sage ERP and vice versa. In this blog, we will be discussing a newly introduced feature coming to the GUMU™ integration. This feature will allow users to view Real-Time Information of Product which can be experienced when a Sales Rep creates and add/update products to its Sales Orders in Salesforce using GUMU™ application.
Now we shall understand how a user can view real time product information of Sage 300 ERP. Kindly refer the steps mentioned below:
- Login to Salesforce
- Navigate to “App Launcher” and select “GUMU Integration” from App list.
- Fill the required information seen on “Order Information” and “ERP Information” tab.
- Click on “Add Product” button which is on the “Order Line” tab. Fill the required information seen on “Order Information” and “ERP Information” tab.
- Firstly, user needs to select the “Product Code” from the lookup.
- Secondly, after Selecting the Product Code, GUMU™ will fetch the real-time inquiry of that respective Product from Sage 300.
- Thirdly, to see the details for the Product expand the “Product Inquiry” section as shown in the below screenshot.
For instance, to verify the information at Sage 300 ERP end, follow the below steps:
- Open Sage 300 ERP system.
- Click on “Inventory Control” Module and expand it.
- Click on “I/C Items and Price List” and Click on “Location Details”
- Select Item from the Item Number Lookup as per your preference.
- You can see the Product information like On Hand, On Purchase Order, On Sales Order etc. on various warehouses under “Quantity” section.
This way, the user can get Real-time Product inquiry from Sage 300 system while adding/updating line item on GUMU™ Sales Order screen for better decision making.
