Safari is an in-built browser for Mac, iPhone and iPad with advanced privacy and security features coming along with this. Salesforce.com do support existing stable version of the browser; however, there are certain settings on Safari that one needs to carry out for a smooth user experience. These settings also apply on the working of GUMU™ Integration solution for Salesforce – Sage ERP Integration on a Safari browser.
GUMU™ Integration solution uses Salesforce Visualforce pages for its real-time inquiry features and in the promotion of Quote to Sales Order process using Lightning components.
From Safari browser version 13.1 onwards, default settings have been changed to block cookies in cross-domain iframes that has caused Visualforce pages embedded within page layouts to not work properly.
To prevent this and enable accessibility of Lightning pages, user needs to simply go to Safari Preferences option and uncheck the Prevent cross-site tracking checkbox for Website tracking under Privacy tab.
