In this blog, we will discuss how the user can promote a Quote from Salesforce to Sage 100 ERP by using GUMU™. Mentioned below are the steps that needs to be followed in order to create Quote from Opportunity Layout.
Quote Creation in Salesforce
- Login to Salesforce.
- Navigate to “App launcher”.
- Search for “Opportunity” and select the opportunity for which the Quote has to be created.
- After that, click on the “New Quote” button as shown in the below image.
- After that, clicking on “New Quote” button, a page will open where you need to add necessary information. And click on “Save” button.
- Similarly, navigate to Quote screen by clicking on Quote number and click on “New ERP Product” button. In other words, this will allow you to add line items to the Quote layout (as shown in the below image).
Note: While adding product to the Quote in Salesforce, we populate pricing for the selected product on the real time basis from Sage 100 ERP
- In conclusion, after adding all the required information, click on “Promote Quote” button (as shown in the below image).
- For instance, clicking on “Promote” button, will push the Quote successfully to Sage 100 ERP system.
Promoted Quote in Sage
- Once the Quote is promoted to Sage 100, you can view the Quote record under Sales Order module of Sage 100 system. (For more clarification refer the below image)
