Quote To Order Conversion on a Single button click in Salesforce with GUMU™

In this blog, we will discuss the Quote to Order feature in Lightning using GUMU™. This feature is introduced mainly to reduce extra efforts required to create Sales Order but also to remove manual/typo errors that could be encountered.

To use the Quote to Order flow on a button click follow the below steps:

  • After creating a Quote against a particular Opportunity of a particular Account, Click on the Generate Order button to Create an Order. Refer to the image below

  • If you haven’t added Quote Line Items for the respective Quote you will get the following Screen.

  • If you had already added the Quote line Items you wouldn’t get the above Screen and the Order will be created in Salesforce. Once the Order is generated Successfully in Salesforce you will get the below Screen.

  • After the Order is Created Successfully from the Quote and if the user tries to create another order from the same Quote, they won’t be able to and will see the below screen.
