Previously, GUMU™ Integration (for Sage 300c) only supported standard pricing. This is since Sage hasn’t released a webservice for consuimg and using the Pricing structure in Sage. However, we have now made advancement to the custom pricing webservice and included Volume based Discount Pricing options that allow customer-based pricing (based on customer type) and quantity-based pricing (volume discounts).
These enhancements offer more flexible and tailored pricing strategies, allowing you to better meet the diverse needs of your customers and optimize your sales processes. Follow our step-by-step instructions to effectively implement these new pricing structures.
Prerequisite
- An Account should be promoted. You can refer to this blog Promote Customer regarding Customer promotion
- Create and promote a Sales Order. Refer to Create Sales Order blog.
- You can then fill out the details regarding a Sales Order and add a product.
- You need to login in Sage 300C.
Step-by-Step guide to defining Pricing Structure in Sage 300C
- In the Prices tab you can find the actual pricing for a particular item.
- In the Discounts tab, select Volume Discounts as shown below and set the values based on which the volume based discount pricing will be applied on the transaction.

- When selecting a product, you will notice that the Volume Discount has been applied.
- Changing the quantity, will update the price automatically.
- To offer an additional discount, the user can utilize the provided discount field. This allows them to apply the extra discount directly to the product, ensuring that customers receive the added benefit.
