In Sage 300 ERP 2012 (formerly known as Sage Accpac ERP v6.1), there are eclectic advanced features available; which would help users to simplify their tasks/processes. In this blog, we would be discussing about one of those features i.e. Inactive Items Option.
On Inventory Worksheet and Inventory Reconciliation screen a new option, i.e. Include Inactive Item option is available in Sage 300 ERP 2012. These options allow users to specify whether to include inactive items in reports generated from these screens.
1. Inventory Reconciliation: Inventory Reconciliation report let’s User compare actual physical Inventory total with the total in Inventory Control system of Sage 300 ERP. With “Include Inactive Items” option, user can include or exclude inactive items from inventory comparison. So with this option they can filter out the inactive records and can make process easier to compare the same.
2. I/C Inventory worksheet: Inventory Worksheet provides an organized form that can be filled by Users when taking a physical count of Inventory. They can use this report to include total quantities for each unit of measure into Inventory Control to prepare for Inventory Reconciliation. Thus, with “Inactive Item” check box provided, user can Include/Exclude inactive items from the Inventory worksheet as per his/her requirement.
Hence with Include Inactive Items option in IC Report of Sage 300 ERP, users would be able to Include or Exclude inactive item from their report.
