In this blog we are going to discuss the working of MergeISVProject.exe in sage 300 C. When we are creating the solution by using Sage 300 Solution Wizard that time 6 project will create. Refer the below screen shot.

In Greytrix.Web project one exe i.e. (MergeISVProject.exe) will get added automatically when we are creating the solution. Refer the below screen shot.
Working of MergeISVProject.exe:
In generally, when we made some changes in project after changes we need to build the project and paste the required dll files into respective directory to test the changes.
But MergeISVProject.exe will automatically copy all necessary files into sage 300 directory. Here we do not need to manually copy all files into a directory.
To compile the views use aspnet_compiler.exe tool. When we build the solution aspnet_compiler.exe tools automatically compile the all views
MergeISVProject.exe is working as past-build event in web project. Means when we build the solution or project in release mode then all views will compiled automatically and all necessary files will copied in to the Sage 300 web bin directory. Refer the below screen shot.
After this we can test the changes is working properly or not.
