In this blog we are going to discuss the custom report i.e. “Order Delivery Status Report” we have developed for one of our customers. The report will list the OE Orders – Shipments with status as “Late Delivered” or “On-Time Delivered”.
The user interface for “Order Delivery Status Report” is a macro file. The report data will be produced based on user-specified date range and customer range. Please find the screenshot of the user interfaces for “Order Delivery Status Report”.
As displayed in the above screenshot user interface will allow a user to specify the date range or specific date using date picker control and also user can specify the range of customers or can specify single customer for which report being produced. Finders are also provided on a user interface to specify the existing customers.
The Report will list all the order records for which shipment “Exp. Ship Date” is within specified From-To date and based on selected customer range. The orders which are marked as “x” in the column “On-Time Delivered” will have the Shipment’s Exp. Ship. Date <= Shipment’s Order’s Deliver By date and the orders which are marked as “x” in the column “Late Delivered” will have the Shipment’s Exp. Ship. Date > Shipment’s Order’s Deliver By date.
If we filtered data for particular customer suppose for customer number “1200” we will get below result.
Also as you can find in both the screenshots above the report is printing total no. of orders and percentage for “On-Time delivered” order-shipments. “Percentage On-Time” will be calculated based on a formula as “No. orders delivered on-time/total no. of orders”.
The report displays entries based on Shipments i.e. same OE Order number will be repeated if there are multiple shipments against the same order.
Also if there is single shipment generated from multiple orders then Shipment number will be repeated for each order.
