Possible Reasons for Slowing down CRM system

  1. If it seems to be the problem of speed always if you are accessing any email communication record. It takes a long time because there are lots of communications till date entered into the CRM system and SQL takes time to search a particular email and then to return the results back. Indexing of your sage CRM database could solve this problem.
  2. Please check if you have activated Auto backup procedure with your SQL database. If you have activated this, then SQL will take the backup of your database after a particular time scale and while taking the backup your CRM system will get slow down.
  3. You can take a trial by just restarting your server and running IISRESET command.
  4. Check if your Indexing Service is on with sage CRM. This arranges the database in manner where it becomes easy to access the records for applications quickly. For starting Index service please go to Control Pannel -> Administrative Tools -> Service. Here find the service with the name “CRM indexer Service” and change its status to “Started”.
  5. Check your Network connection settings (Network Speed); this is one of the reasons which affect the CRM performance.
  6. If you have made any changes in some views this may affect the speed of application, for this we need to create index service manually.
