Mass Update in Sage CRM

The mass update function allows you to simultaneously update same fields in selected records within a group. Consider if one of Sales Person is left from Organization and System Administrator wanted to assign all of his Customers, Contacts to new Sales Person, then Sage CRM Mass Update function can be used effectively.

Here are the steps that Sage CRM System Administrator needs to do for performing Mass Update.
1) User needs to create a Group of Companies/Contacts within Sage CRM for which Mass Update needs to be performed.
2) Once Group is created user can navigate to the Group Summary screen and select Mass Update button.
Group13) As soon as Mass Update button is selected, below screen will get displayed. On this screen, user can select the fields that he wanted to update and click on Continue button.
Group24) After Selection of field, System Administrator can set values that he/she wanted to update for all records of a Group and Click on Save button to proceed further.
Group35) Finally user will get Confirmation window and on click of OK button, Mass Update operation will get executed.
6) After this a Confirmation page is been displayed which displayed the Summary of Updated records.
Similar Mass Update operations can be performed for any other entity like Opportunity, Cases or any other Custom entity.
