GUMU™ for Sage CRM – Sage X3 Integration is a real-time bi-directional integration between Sage CRM and Sage X3 enables users to access customer, invoice and order information from either of these two systems.
Today in this blog we will discuss about the new folder wise Sage CRM user permission setting feature which we will be incorporating into new GUMU™ Sage CRM – Sage X3 product. As our GUMU™ integration support multiple folders configuration, so in our newer version of integration we are coming up with new feature wherein in Sage CRM admin level user can assign permission to other user to access various GUMU™ features like promoting customer/orders, viewing real time tabs on company tab like order inquiry, AR inquiry.
This is actually the same modification to same setting which was present previously in GUMU with name Security Matrix.
Sage CRM System Admin user can access this setting by navigating through below path in Sage CRM, Administration-> Sage ERP X3-> Folder Level User Settings
In this settings, admin can give folder wise permission to other user so that he can manage integrated data access for another user in Sage CRM.
As shown in below screenshot on click of Add New button, admin can assign permission to other CRM users as per folder.
In below screenshot, permission is assigned for FinchJ user and GTPL folder.
In below another screenshot, for user John Finch all the rights are given for folder GTPL and for same user only view customer, view AR inquiry and promote Sales order rights are given for SEED folder that means he can access all the activities related to folder GTPL but he can access only view customer, AR inquiry and Promote Sales order for SEED folder.
Also if a user wants to change the settings which is already assigned to any Sage CRM user then just by clicking on Username in grid user can edit it.
