We prefer setting up preferences to suit how our company does business to provide ease of use and apt environment/workspace to the users. Administrator sets up the global preferences that affect all users across the company.
Suppose, the company residing in United States time zone, have set up the configuration accordingly, and now it is moved to British summer time which starts causing the issues with already configured system time. Due to this change, even the Sage Intacct activity reports are falling out of time.
To fix this wrong system time easily, Sage Intacct has given ability, to its users to instantly change the time zones at user level, and to the admin to change it globally.
In Sage Intacct, time zone can be changed globally on the Company settings screen. Go to Company > Configuration > General Information tab > Scroll down to Global Settings section and change the Company’s time zone as required.
Also, each user can easily control their time zone on the user’s “My Preferences” page by selecting the zone in which their company resides. Go to Company > under Admin tab go to Users > locate your user and click Preferences besides it. Otherwise one can also navigate to “My Preferences” page from the User symbol at the top right corner of any screen. Both the ways are shown below.
On the Preferences page, scroll down to “General Preferences” section and select the desired time zone and you are all set to work.
