New feature has been introduced in Sage 500 version 2019 for making a buyer or reason code with active or inactive flag.

Set Up Buyer form :
Basically, Set Up buyer form is useful for setup and maintain a record of the persons who’s responsible for purchasing items from a vendor. You can also use buyer code at the time of purchase order or inventory transaction.
In such transaction entries, you can see multiple buyer code which is not required but still they shown in the buyer list. This new feature is more useful to maintain buyer code with active or inactive status and you can set inactive to those buyer code which is actually not required for data entries.
By using the below column, you can make Buyer code active or inactive.
Set Up Reason Code :
Use this task to set up and maintain reason codes, which identifies why a specific transaction transpired. You can use these codes to identify entries, for example, you can use reason codes to describe why a customer issued you a debit memo or credit memo.
This new feature is helpful to maintain reason code with active or inactive status so if any reason code is inactive, then that reason code user will not be able to use in any transaction entries.
