Experience Real-time Account Inquiry (with Lightning compatibility) in SF – Sage X3 Integration

Our product GUMU™ Integration is well-known for its real-time bi-directional link which syncs data from Salesforce to Sage ERP and vice versa. In this blog, we will be discussing how to see Real-Time ERP Information on the Account object in Salesforce.

Once the integration of Salesforce – Sage X3 ERP is successful using the GUMU™ connector, all the information of the fields mentioned in the corresponding entity can be retrieved in real-time. This includes data related to Customer’s finances, Invoices, Historical Sales Orders, Quotes and Shipments. After successful installation and configuration of GUMU™ in the organization and importing Customers from Sage X3 ERP to Salesforce, follow the steps cited below to view real-time ERP details.

Open an Account in Salesforce which is imported from Sage X3 or linked to a customer in Sage X3. This Account will have the value of the customer number field populated with a link. This link serves as a quick access to the real-time inquiry page.

  • Firstly user can click on ERP Details button / Customer No. Link.
  • Further, Clicking on the ERP Details button/ Customer No. link will redirect your screen to a page displaying the real-time ERP details of the Customer.
  • Screen also provides various tabs for additional details for Customer details, Quote, Orders, and Invoices. By default, Customer details page is displayed.

You can click on any tab to view the corresponding ERP details.

  • BP Inquiry: Displays real-time details of the BP Invoices created for the Customer in Sage X3.

  • Sales Order: Displays real-time details of the Sales order created in Sage X3 for the corresponding Customer along with its line items.

  • Quote Inquiry: Displays real-time details of Quotes created for the Customer in Sage X3.

  • Shipment: Displays real-time details of the deliveries made for the Customer.

In this way, you can see the data related to Customers in the Sage X3 system, directly, on the associated account in Salesforce, in real-time.
